Asclepion Laser Technologies meets highest standards in quality management.

As a high-tech company, we consider it our duty to meet highest standards in quality management. Various certifications prove that we are successful in implementing these requirements in practice.

As one of the first companies in the medical technology sector Asclepion Laser Technologies was certified according to the new ISO norms 9001:2000 and 13485:2003 in February 2006.

As early as 1997, the company was certified to 
 - ISO 9001:1994
 - ISO 13485 and to
 - the European medical device directive MDD 93/42/EEC, Appendix II.

The ISO norm 9001:2000 essentially requires the consistent orientation of the organisation to the core processes inside and outside the company. These include, for example, innovation processes, all the flows in manufacturing, from procurement management through to delivery, as well as all after-sales activities. The organisational streamlining of the entire company and the swift reaction to customer needs are the main goals. Quality management for procurement, internal logistics, manufacturing and dispatch are now integrated in the newly created Operations division.

In addition, the external relationships of the company were optimised and oriented closely to specific customer groups. The organisational orientation of the company to core processes instead of rigid structures will allow Asclepion Laser Technologies to act more flexibly in the future and to implement changes more quickly. Through the implementation of the new ISO norm it is possible to convey to employees complex work flows more simply and transparently. Thanks to this improved understanding, it is possible to identify and remove sources of errors more easily. This creates the framework for a general increase in product quality and greater orientation to the customer.
