Water reaches its maximum absorption peak in correspondence with the Erbium:YAG laser wavelength. Tissue ablation therefore takes place without any thermal damage to the skin. The Erbium laser treatment is a procedure that reduces pain and recovery times to a minimum. For the treatment of deep wrinkles, for which MCL 30 Dermablate is highly effective, a local anesthetic is sufficient.
