Integrated smoke evacuation system

Asclepion Laser Technologies has patented an exclusive handpiece design which aspirates the ablated particles at the same time as the emission of the laser light is activated by the footswitch. No additional switch is needed, and noise is kept to a minimum. This also means that physicians no longer have to purchase a supplementary device or have an assistant present to hold it during treatment.

Spot variation directly on the handpiece, automatic detection
Another Asclepion innovation is the ease with which physicians can now vary the spot size (from 1 to 8 mm) simply by turning a dial on the handpiece, and without having to change the applicator. It takes just a few seconds for the machine display to recognize the change and the laser to be ready for use again, ensuring considerable time savings and high user-friendliness.

“Coagulation” mode keeps treatment area free and clear
Er:YAG laser has a convenient “coagulation” mode. The pinpoint bleeding that occurs during skin ablation treatments can be stopped by using the thermal mode, which automatically sets the right parameters for curbing pinpoint bleeding.
The flexibility of the new Asclepion devices allows doctors to perform a wider range of treatments for patients. Apart from laser technology, there are various additional modules to choose from: RF (radio frequency) for skin tightening and wrinkle reduction, APL (pulsed light) for hair removal, vascular treatment and skin rejuvenation, and AW (acoustic waves) for treating cellulite and body shaping.
The treatment area remains free and clearly visible for the physician, allowing him to continue operating safely.

Exclusive CoolStar System
Er:Glass laser source features a CoolStar system which enhances patients’ comfort during the treatment. CoolStar is integrated in the system and continuously monitors the temperature to provide optimized skin cooling.
